I've loved neckties for as long as I can remember, and the reason I love them is my dad. He has always worn a tie, every day, he's even been known to wear one in the house. Not because he had somewhere to go, but just because.
He has an extensive collection and is not afraid of color. I think the shirt he's wearing in the photo is pale pink. He has a tie in every color, many of them bright.
One evening, I decided to find a new and feminine way to wear these accessories I loved. After a few hours of fiddling and pleating I created something that would become my signature piece, the ascot scarf.
Here I am just over ten years later, I still love ties and creating new accessories for fellow tie lovers!
